Standard Cancellation Policy

  • Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, provided the check-in date is at least 14 days away.
  • 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled check-in date.
  • No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the check-in date.
  • Long-Term Stay Cancellation Policy (Valid for stays lasting 28 nights or longer.)
  • Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of booking and at least 28 days before the intended check-in date. After that, the first 30 days of the stay are non-refundable.

To ensure the comfort and security of our guests, Casa Stanley permits the use of security measures such as security cameras and noise monitoring devices, provided they are explicitly disclosed in the listing description and do not intrude on the privacy of others. Common areas do not encompass sleeping quarters or bathrooms. 

What Casa Stanley Does Not Allow 

  • Hidden and Undisclosed Devices Monitoring Common Areas: Any device used for monitoring common areas must be conspicuously placed and disclosed within the listing description. 
  • Devices Situated in or Monitoring Private Areas: Monitoring devices should never be positioned in private areas (e.g., bedrooms, bathrooms, or common spaces used for sleeping, such as a living room with a sofa bed).

Our Guidelines & Anticipations necessitate that all weapons located in a listing must be appropriately and securely stored. If a weapon is visible or discoverable by guests, it is mandatory to specify its presence in the house rules. Definition of a Weapon 

Any device capable of projecting a projectile is categorized as a weapon. This encompasses, but is not restricted to, conventional firearms, air guns, self-defence or deterrent tools such as tasers or pepper spray, various types of ammunition, and imitation firearms.

It is essential not to disrupt common spaces, treat neighbors as receptionists, create a pervasive nuisance for those around you, or persistently fail to respond to neighbor or community concerns. 

Ensuring Authenticity 

Authenticity is paramount in your Casa Stanley experiences, where delightful moments and unexpected adventures abound. This is rooted in shared expectations, transparent interactions, and accurate information. 

Truthfulness in Representation 

Providing false names or dates of birth, using listings for commercial purposes without your host’s approval, hosting events or parties without your host’s consent, maintaining duplicate accounts, or creating an account if you are under 18 are not allowed.

Promoting Reliability 

Every Casa Stanley experience is unique, with each detail specific to a home, neighborhood, and host. Commitments within our community rely on trust in each other’s reliability, be it in timely communication, the condition of the home, or the expectations we establish. 

Providing Habitable Spaces 

Offering spaces with substandard cleanliness or undisclosed lack of running water or electricity is not allowed. Additionally, spaces that are not legitimate sleeping quarters (e.g., camping gear), not stationary for the duration of the stay (e.g., moving boats), or lack access to dedicated toilet facilities (e.g., directing guests to use public toilets) should be avoided. 

Honoring Commitments 

Unless there are extenuating circumstances, you should not cancel after the deadline set in the relevant cancellation policy. Furthermore, failing to enable check-in, refusing to pay, or violating your host’s house rules is discouraged. 

Being Responsive 

Persistently low ratings, being unresponsive during booking or throughout a stay, failing to provide an adequate point of contact for hosting, or refusing to participate in our resolution process should be avoided.
